Nope ... that's 'Drag Race: All Stars' winner Chad Michaels.
DragSerena SonomaThe last time Sean Hayes dropped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Brad Pitt was randomly sitting in the audience.
During his time as a guest host for the daytime talk show on Friday, Hayes pointed out another familiar face in the audience… Cher! Well, kind of.
The Cher lookalike was actually RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars winner Chad Michaels who famously impersonates the singer.
“Do I know you?” he asked Michaels, dressed in full Cher drag including an enormous headpiece . “Like, if only I could turn back time and remember where I know you from. It’s driving me crazy. Anyway, as soon as I figure it out, I’m going to ’Cher’ it with all of you. I got you, babe.” Such a pun-filled guy, that Sean Hayes.
As some in the audience, noticed the presence of the performer, they were visibly taken aback. It was clear some of them thought it was Cher incarnate.
After a segment called “Oh, Straight People,” Hayes invited the Michaels on stage for a duet of, “If I Could Turn Back Time,” accompanied by Sean's over-the-top impression of her he’d once done as Jack on "Will & Grace."
“It was an honor and I had a blast,” Michaels later tweeted, “can I come back and meet Ellen??”
Adam Devine later appeared as Hayes first guest, and joked about how his mom acts like she’s close, personal friends with Ellen DeGeneres. He also spoke about his upcoming Netflix series Green Eggs and Ham, which Ellen is executive producing. Later in the show, Hayes met Garrett Clay a 7-year-old insect expert from Menifee, California.
