Saturday Night Liveopened the skit for its third episode of the 45th season with takes on CNN’s LGBTQ+ Town Hall. The skit featured special guests including Pose star, Emmy winner, and Cinderella’s new fairy godmother, Billy Porter

The NBC show also featured Alex Moffat as CNN’s Anderson Cooper while Porter announced the Democratic presidential candidates.

“This town hall will discuss the issues affecting our community: LGBTQ and straight girls who make pride about them.,” Moffat said.

Porter channeled a bit of Pray Tell‘s over-the-top energy as he introduced the candidates. "He may live in the projects, but ladies, he ain't no project. It's Cory Booker!,” Porter said.

For Pete Butigieg: "Representing the House of Booty-gig, it's Mayor Pete!" He went on to say that Julian Castro hailed from the “house of Urban Deliciousness” while he labeled Joe Biden a “Delaware daddy.”

Lin-Manuel Miranda played the role of Julián Castro who thought he was on an episode of Queer Eye

“Well, first of all, gracias," Miranda said when asked what he would do to bring queer voices to his cabinet. "As a Democrat, I want to apologize for not being gay, but I promise to do better in the future. However, I am Latino, which we can all agree is something. Look, I'm young, I'm diverse. I'm Latin Obama, let's get the hashtag going!"

"There was once another man who left his mark on this nation's history," he continued before getting interrupted just as a song from his musical "Hamilton" started to play. "I was going to say Al Gore!"

Playing the role of Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren was SNL regular Kate McKinnon who took a question from an audience member. The question asked how she would respond if someone told her on the campaign trail that marriage is between a man and a woman, referencing a now viral moment from this week’s town hall

"Look, I'm going to assume it's a guy asking, OK?" McKinnon said. "I would say, 'Sir, tell me your bus stop because I want to know where you get off!"

McKinnon puts on purple glasses and then begins to dance and take off her wig while being covered in red roses.

Booker was played by Chris Redd while Woody Harrelson played the role of Joe Biden.

At one, Harrelson gets hot and heavy with Moffat. After saying that all LGBTQ+ people are "okay with Joe,” he asks Moffat, who is still playing Anderson Cooper, if he had “ever been kissed by a vice president before?”  He then proceeded to kiss Cooper, parodying women who have stated that Biden inappropriately invaded their personal space.

"I think we're done here," Moffat replied. "Live from New York, it's Saturday Night!"

Saturday Night Live airs live coast-to-coast Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT on NBC.
