"I remain completely infatuated and in love."
Mey RudeGay power couple Robbie Rogers and Greg Berlanti are pulling at all of our heartstrings today as they each took to social media to express their love for each other on the couple’s two-year wedding anniversary, which took place on December 2. It’s all very sweet, y’all.
On his Instagram, Rogers posted several pictures of the family, along with a caption that included an extended scene from When Harry Met Sally, which the couple read together at Rogers’ sister’s wedding. “I remain completely infatuated and in love w/ [Greg Berlanti], even more so than the day I said, ‘I do,’” he wrote in the post. “... [T]here is no better man in the world.”
Berlanti made his own anniversary post, sharing even more beautiful pictures of the happy family. “Happy two year anniversary,” he wrote, before shouting out their son, “or as Caleb says ‘it’s like a birthday for marriage!’”
He continued, “Our trip together has been the greatest journey imaginable while also feeling like we never left home.” We love to see it!
Rogers, a former professional soccer player and Men’s U.S. National Team member came out in 2013 and started dating Berlanti that same year. Berlanti is one of the most successful writers and producers working today, producing shows like Riverdale, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl. He also directed 2018’s Love, Simon, the first major studio to focus on a gay teen romance.
The two have been together for six years. They became fathers in 2016 via surrogacy, — giving birth to son Caleb — and then welcomed a second child, Mia, in May of this year. We wish the couple a hundred more wonderful anniversaries just like this one!
