Think of it as a little extra after season six’s finale.
Mikelle StreetWhen Dan Levy announced that the show he created with his father, Schitt’s Creek would come to its final close in the sixth season, we mourned. To be frank, we’re still in mourning. Watching how Levy begins tying up loose ends — and David closes in on finally tying the knot with his fiancé Patrick — is bittersweet as we realize it’ll be some of the last we’ll see of his particular grouping. But, it looks like the Rose family has a little more in store.
On Monday, Netflix announced their first-ever comedy festival. Included in the week-long event, the festival will encompass a day of an exclusively queer lineup as well as other special events. May 1 of the festival, Netflix has slated Schitt’s Creek: The Farewell Tour, where the cast members will put on an “interactive evening that promised to be fun and insightful while giving fans an insider’s look into the making of the series.” If it’s anywhere as near as funny as the after show that’s been going on, count us in.
Dan and Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara, Annie Murphy, Noah Reid and Emily Hampshire are all on board. But, following the latest episode of the show, Dan Levy has announced more tour dates.
“Couldn’t say goodbye without saying thank you to all of you,” he wrote to Instagram, posting a graphic with 12 tour dates. While things king off in Los Angeles, there’s stops in Hollywood, Florida (it’s one of three Florida stops), Washington, D.C., Chicago, Illinois, Boston, Massachusets, and Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. local time on Friday. Tickets for respective cities here.
