When Vanessa Williams gives you a compliment, you take it.
RuPaul's Drag RaceMikelle StreetLooks like it's another series, digitally that is!
When RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race launched, it promised three queens functioning as Queen Supremes every episode. Those performers would mentor their would-be celeb contestants, getting them into drag for the Main Stage. And while that is certainly happening, quite quickly we all found out that those weren't the only drag artists helping out on set. Show credits included the likes of Laila McQueen, Mayhem Miller, and Shannel as creative consultants. Then we found out that those were the creatives that did the Main Stage makeup for the first episode.
Shortly after the first of the four-part special aired, Drag Racereleased a "bonus clip" featuring Shannel meeting all of the celebrities. Now, it seems that was the part of a new series being pushed on the show's Instagram.
In the latest clip, Raven meets Vanessa Williams, Tami Roman, and Loni Love as they are getting their makeup done. Having competed on two seasons of Drag Race, become RuPaul's very own makeup artist for getting into drag, and made cameos on multiple seasons of the show, she is indeed Drag Race royalty as Trinity the Tuck says.
"So I'm here because I had nothing better to do and I'm still working off my community service," Raven says in the clip. Community service by way of paid that no doubt hefty coin Ru pays to get her makeup done? We aspire! It's unclear whether or not Raven, like Shannel, had helped any of the celebrities get into drag.
"When is the last time you've been in this much makeup?" she asked Williams.
"I've never had the waxed brow," Williams, who was getting into a Dolly Parton look, answered. "I've never had such deep contour, so this is the most. I need this look though. This is amazing." She gestured to the outfit Raven was wearing.
"That eye makeup!" Asia O'Hara added.
