A lil Nancy Drew work is in order.
Mikelle StreetSeason three of Netflix's high school drama Elite wrapped up a lot of strings. About half of the cast was graduating from Las Ciencias, the school where all the action was based. A few of the characters had died and the rest seemed ready to happily finish out their schooling. But, the thing is, there's already been pretty rampant speculation about season's four and five. Now, a new goodbye video from the show could wink at that idea.
In a slightly emotional video posted to the Netflix Twitter account, the cast gives a few tearful goodbyes.
"It was a real pleasure working with you," Danna Paola, the actress who plays Lucrecia in the series, says to the cast and crew in the video. The footage seems to have been taken from backstage of what we assume is the last day of filming. "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you."
"I want to tell Carla that she is an incredible character and an incredible woman," Ester Exposito, who plays Carla, says. "I would love to be like her. And I love her, I love her."
Others, like Jorge Lopez who plays Valerio, and Alvaro Rico who plays Polo also have things to say.
" wish that she can reach the point where she can really be happy doing what she wants in the future," Mina El Hammani, who plays Nadia says. "So let's live life Nadia!" And while that's quite a few castmates, there are a few important ones who have yet to say their goodbyes.
At the end of season three, Omar, Ander, Guzman, Rebeka, and Cayetana are all, for some reason or another, still at Las Ciencias. So if the show were to continue, still set at the school, their characters would be the ones still involved. It's curious that none of the actors who play those roles say any goodbyes. Maybe because we should expect them to make their returns?!
