RuPaul's Drag Race has had a ton of big names on the show, and it seems season after season the bar is being raised. Season 13 was an exception given that it was filmed in quarantine — the show opted for a core group of recurring judges rather than massive name one-timers — but things could soon be getting back to normal. One boldfaced name that says she'd be finally up for making her appearance on the show? Cher!
"I'm going to have to go on it at some point," the icon told Entertainment Weekly in an interview.
Yeah, snap out of it! She really said that.
There's been a ton of Cher moments on Drag Race, from tips to contestants like Tamisha Iman to channel the artist when delivering lines, to Cher impersonators like Chad Michaels, the Cher Rusical, and even Chaz Bono and Cher's mom Georgia Holt appearing on the show.
"I've known him for a long time. He's such a cool guy," Cher said of Ru. "I would consider it! I have watched it…. He's smart and I love him. He's the coolest guy ever. What he's been able to do is amazing."

Cher isn't the only hotly anticipated icon. Much has been discussed about Dolly Parton coming on the show as a judge — she made a video appearance in RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race when contestants did a Rusical based on her. Michelle Visage revealed that Parton has said no to the show for over a decade.
“At the end of the day it’s scheduling, and it’s a very long day for these people," Visage said. At the time, Visage also said that asks have been going out to Madonna, Cher, and more.
