AHSryan murphyDonald PadgettParis Jackson has joined the cast American Horror Story: Double Feature. Sources told TMZ the 23-year-old singer-songwriter and model will appear in at least one episode of Ryan Murphy’s anthology horror series, now in its 10th season. The announced cast already includes Sarah Paulson, Macaulay Culkin, Evan Peters, and Kathy Bates.
Murphy recently released a trailer for the upcoming season to Instagram, revealing American Horror Story: Double Feature will live up to its name by telling “two horrifying stories” within its 10th season: “one by the sea” and “one by the sand.”
The two mini-seasons will sport separate casts. Culkin, Bates, and Paulson will be featured in the first “by the sea” mini-season. Sources told TMZ Jackson will appear in the second “by the sand” portion of Double Feature. The cast of season 10 also includes Lily Rabe, Billie Lourd, Finn Whittrock, Leslie Grossman, Adina Porter, and Angelica Ross. This will be the first TV role as a series regular for Culkin, the child star of the Home Alone franchise. His role was described by Murphy as a “very, very great insane part” that will include “crazy erotic sex with Kathy Bates.”
Jackson has acted before, both for film and television. She appeared in the Fox series Star and also on the big screen in Nash Edgerton’s 2018 film Gringo starring Charlize Theron, David Oyelowo, and Joel Edgerton.
The talented musician daughter of the late Michael Jackson just dropped a music video for her first single with her UK band, The Struts, entitled “Low Key in Love.”
Last year she released an album with her then-boyfriend Gabriel Glenn, Unveiling The Soundflowers. She told Out she was sure her music would to many “come off as emo and sad” but that wasn’t an issue for her.
“But my hope is that it brings comfort to those who feel the way I did when I wrote the songs, especially ‘Geronimo,’” she told Out. “I’d like for the listeners who resonate with the lyrics to know that they are not alone. And that it gets better.”
Jackson revealed in a 2018 Instagram Q+A she doesn’t label herself as bisexual, although some people chose to label her that way.
American Horror Story: Double Feature is set to premiere later this year on FX.
