Good morning, Upper East Siders! We're a little less than a month away from the long-awaited return of the beloved teen drama series Gossip Girl, and to hype us up for all the drama, angst, love, and most importantly, queer representation we're going to get, HBO Max just released the first official trailer for the series!

Set to Frank Ocean's iconic (and befitting) 2012, Channel Orange track "Super Rich Kids," the trailer gives us a glimpse at the lives of New York City's private school elite as they navigate the intense and complex social scene under the always-watching eyes of notorious rumor blogger and tea spiller Gossip Girl (Kristen Bell is reprising her iconic voice-over role from the original CW series). The trailer also shows us that queer love is plentiful in the revamped version of the OG show from the '00s, showing us multiple steamy moments between different male characters, including Thomas Doherty and Evan Mock, two of the show's leads.

Also starring Jordan Alexander, Eli Brown, Tavi Gevinson, Emily Alyn Lind, Zion Moreno, Whitney Peak, and Savannah Lee Smith, HBO Max's Gossip Girl is dedicated to fixing the old, diversity issues of the original TV series, giving viewers a more authentic and representative look at what NYC looks like.

"This time around the leads are nonwhite,"GG's executive producer Josh Safran said in a 2019 Vulture interview about the show's casting includes multiple characters of color and a cast that is made up of a majority of women. "There’s a lot of queer content on this show. It is very much dealing with the way the world looks now, where wealth and privilege come from, and how you handle that."

Gossip Girl premieres July 8 on HBO Max!
