The Drag Race season 11 alum has very good reasons behind her most recent move in the All Stars 6 competition.

After many weeks of wondering, the "Game Within a Game" twist that was promised at the beginning of the currently ongoing sixth season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars was finally revealed to be a lip-syncing extravaganza where all of the season's previously eliminated queens battle head-to-head to get one last chance to bring themselves back into the competition.
Though Serena Cha Cha, Jiggly Caliente, Silky Nutmeg Ganache, Yara Sofia, Scarlet Envy, Jan, Pandora Boxx, and Eureka were all there to try and get back into All Stars 6 gameplay, one queen — season 11 finalist A'Keria C. Davenport— decided to respectfully decline the offer to compete in the lip sync tourney, and she explained the reasoning behind her decision.
"So y'all know I'm a fighting b*tch, but I would much rather respectfully decline than to have my world shattered again," Davenport said during the episode. "I’m sure people will be like, 'Oh my god, you’re so crazy that you had this second chance and you’re not taking it,' but I still feel like I have a second chance because I can take the things I’ve now learned about myself, that this competition has taught me, and apply that to my next journey in life."
She further discussed her decision with Drag Race judge Michelle Visage in a bonus exit interview following this week's episode.
"It's not always giving up, sometimes you have to take that same fire and drive and direct it somewhere else," she explained to Visage. "And to know that in that moment, everybody has a season. In that moment, it just may not be your season. So this is your chance to bow gracefully and allow the world to fall in love with what you did present and axctually give that somewhere else."
"I think that's a fair explanation," Visage replies.
"She was NEVER the competition, only the OBSTACLE! " Davenport then wrote in a recent Instagram post. "Remember to ALWAYS choose your battles wisely!"
Beautifully said, A'Keria! Beautifully said!
