There will be no more Rose Family reunion this year.

Dan and Eugene Levy, the stars and creators of Schitt’s Creek, have announced their decision to cancel the Schitt’s Creek North American farewell tour over concerns about the resurging global pandemic.

"When we postponed the Schitt's Creek: The Farewell Tour, we had every hope and intention of traveling to see you later this year," the pair shared in a statement on Instagram.

"However, despite our best efforts to reschedule while keeping your health and safety at the forefront, we've found that state and local mandates vary too widely to do so in the near future," they continued. "So, we have made the difficult decision to cancel all tour dates that were scheduled pre-pandemic."

The pair announced they are immediately refunding all tickets purchased to the tour, and apologized profusely. They also promised that they’d try again in the future. The statement was signed off in the classic Schitt’s Creek way, "best wishes and warmest regards."

Schitt’s Creek came to an end last year after six successful and heartwarming seasons. The final season was one of the most critically-acclaimed of any comedy ever, sweeping the 2020 Emmys and picking up awards in each of the comedy acting categories.

But fans of the Rose Family don’t have to be too sad, we’ve at least got a book coming our way! Early this month, Glamour reported that Dan and Eugene Levy were publishing a book about the series this fall.

Best Wishes, Warmest Regards: The Story of Schitt’s Creek will "capture the essence and alchemy of all six seasons" and celebrate "the town, the characters, and the state of mind that is Schitt’s Creek." It will be released on October 26.

Hopefully, we’ll get to see David, Moira, and the rest of the Rose family soon — heaven knows we miss them!
