More and more international versions of Dancing with the Stars are getting same-sex dance partners, and we love to see it!

Eurovision 2019 star Bilal Hassani became the first male celebrity to be paired with a male dancer on France’s version of Dancing with the Stars, and he absolutely slayed!

Hassani was paired with professional dancer Jordan Mouillerac, and the pair danced to Sia’s song “Courage To Change,” dressed in all white.

This season on Danse avec les stars added a new twist to the judge’s table. All four judges were given a buzzer, which they could use to say they wanted to make a dancing pair immune from elimination. Hassani and Mouillerac wowed the judges enough to earn four buzzers, automatically progressing them to the next round.

Hassani shared his excitement on Twitter, tweeting “Very moved to live this timeless moment with Jordan, we hope to be able to continue to make you love each week.”

The original, British version of Strictly Come Dancing is also getting its first-ever male same-sex couple, with Great British Bake Off winner John Whaite dancing with professional dancer Johannes Radebe.

Whaite announced his dancing partnership through a fabulous reveal, having Redebe pop out of a giant, glittery cake. The pair is already iconic!

The American version, Dancing With the Stars also broke new ground this week when former Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa danced with female professional dancer Jenna Johnson. The two had the highest score of the night, even after Johnson slipped during the routine.
