Colton Underwood is off the market.

The former Bachelor star confirmed to Us Weekly he is currently in a relationship with Jordan C. Brown, saying he came along at just the right time to help him ease into his life as an out gay man.

“I’m happy, I’m in love, and I’m in a good position” Underwood revealed. “Everything as far as that goes has been pretty smooth.”

The 29-year-old former NFL practice squad player said he “didn’t know what was really next” after his stints on reality television.

“I knew that I was still coming out and I still am. So there’s still things to work through right now,” Underwood continued, but he gave credit to his friends and personal support group who he said have “been so helpful and impactful” over the past year.

One of those friends is Jordan C. Brown, the salt-and-pepper coiffed man Underwood was seen smooching at the Four Seasons resort in Maui earlier this summer. Brown, 38, is a well-connected political strategist, having worked with multiple Democratic presidential campaigns, including Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign and both Barack Obama’s 2008 and 2012 campaigns. The pair’s kiss caught the eye of at least one person, who noted the pair were clearly enjoying their time together as a couple.

“They were all over each other at the resort,” a source revealed to Page Six at the time.

The handsome pair were also seen this past spring in Provincetown spending time with their mutual friend Gus Kenworthy. The Olympic medalist had been helping Underwood navigate life after coming out for his new, upcoming docuseries Coming Out Colton, which debuts this Friday, December 3 on Netflix.

One area not covered in Coming Out Colton is his dating life.

“I have been through that,” he said. “I have done that.”

While not wanting to “speak in definitives” for the present, he cast doubt on a future return to reality television.

“I’ve definitely drawn boundaries on that. Having a public relationship, for me, was not healthy,” Underwood said. “I just think right now I’m really sort of protecting and guarding what I have.”

Underwood did say recently, however, he thinks America might be ready for a gay season of The Bachelor.

“As far as a LGBTQ+ cast I really don't know. I would hope. I really would,” Underwood told Entertainment Tonight recently. “I think it would work. I do think if people gave it a shot, the show could work. I do think, I truly believe that America is ready for it, too.”

The former Bachelor franchise star famously came out as gay in an interview in April.

“For me, I've run from myself for a long time, I've hated myself for a long time and...I’m gay,” Underwood told Good Morning America. “I came to terms with that earlier this year and have been processing all of that. The next step in all of that is been letting people know.”

For now, Underwood assured his fans he is in a good place in his life.

“I have the most support that I’ve ever had in my life, whether it’s my friends or my family,” Underwood said.

He also revealed he’s relishing his life as an openly gay man in love, but doing so on his own terms. And that means keeping his relationship with Brown out of the public spotlight as much as possible.

“I just want that time for us,” Underwood said.
