Stephen Colbert Recaps VP Debate, Goes in on Mike Pence

Don’t feel guilty if you missed the vice presidential debate last night, you’re not alone. Not as weighty as the presidential debates, last night’s sit-down between governor Mike Pence (R) and Senator Tim Kaine (D) served more as a chance for each VP hopeful to defend their running mate — and the two were so fervent that moderator Elaine Quijano had to remind them that, even though thought they’re at the kids table, it’s still rude to interrupt.

Never one to miss an opportunity, The Late Show host Stephen Colbert had his recap of the debate ready, with quips about Kaine’s word choice, and Pence’s repeated use of phrases that could too easily be turned into innuendo. Watch below.
