As The Vixen once said, “No – too vague!”

This week, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season one runner-up Divina De Campo set Twitter ablaze by accusing a “prominent Drag Race girl” of thinking that Donald Trump was a great president and that JK Rowling is a talented writer. De Campo also accused this mysterious Drag Race queen of not believing in climate change.

De Campo wrote:

“A real prominent loved drag race girl saying

Donald trump was a great president

JKR is a really talented person

Climate change isn’t real

Ummm”

The season one runner-up added in a subsequent tweet:

“Not UK so it’s clear.”

Several Drag Race alumni have reacted with shock to this tweet and asked De Campo to reveal who this person is.

Eve 6000 asked, “B*TCH WHO????” DeJa Skye responded with several flushed face emojis.

Cheryl Hole joked, “Not you even telling me on WhatsApp either.”

In turn, Kornbread “The Snack” Jeté called out De Campo for bringing this up but not revealing this individual’s identity, which is causing quite a bit of drama within the Drag Race community. The Miss Congeniality winner of season 14 noted: “So you gone wake Twitter up. And not say who? Help me understand.”

She added:

“No because now you got the fan base saying other queens’ names in the comments. Making people look bad and it might not even be them.”

Indeed, Kornbread has a point – fans are now bringing up several names of potential queens who might be climate deniers, Trump supporters, and JK Rowling fans (according to De Campo). By bringing this up but not revealing a name, De Campo has fueled accusations to be thrown around against queens who might not hold these beliefs in any way.

If De Campo wasn’t ready or willing to reveal who this person was, then this was probably a tweet that could’ve been left in the draft. Alas, here we are, and Drag Race fans are deep into this discourse now.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season four premieres Thursday, September 22 on WOW Presents Plus.
