If you’re anything like me, your inner '90s kid peed his pants when you heard Nickelodeon was making a Legends of the Hidden Temple movie. But after your initial excitement wore off, you probably thought to yourself, 'Wait, but how are they are going to turn a 23 minute game show into an full-length, featured film?'

Well, we decided to ask Alex Jenkins Reid, the man who wrote the Legends of the Hidden Temple screenplay, to get some answers. Here are 5 things he told us to expect from the upcoming film.

1. The movie is written just as much for 28-year-olds as for eight-year-olds.

"In fact, it's written specifically so that older fans of the show can watch it with their kids and both audiences can enjoy it."

2. Expect a lot of Easter eggs.

"In other words, if you don't have kids and still want to watch, the movie has got you covered. It's got Kirk Fogg, Dee Bradley Baker (the original voice of Olmec), and a ton of subtle references that pay homage to the original game show."

3. No, really. Expect A LOT of Easter eggs.

"Seriously. I wouldn't recommend making a drinking game à la 'Let's take a shot every time there is a team name reference!' unless you want to be totally wasted by 9:30. Or, depending what you're doing after watching, go for it! The movie is a great way to pre-party!"

4.The movie answers some age-old questions.

"The movie reveals the origin story of Olmec and the Hidden Temple, so you can finally settle that bet you made with your friend Todd when you were eight and a half."

5. The movie is best enjoyed with a side of candy nostalgia.

"I promise I am not being paid to say this, but might I recommend eating Nerds while watching the movie. It will really help to put you in a Temple-y state of mind. Also, bonus points for anyone who takes their Huffy out for a spin afterwards."

The movie will premiere this Saturday, Nov. 26 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.
