The actor filled in as a guest judge for comedian Ken Jeong.
We all miss Leslie Jordan very much.
On Wednesday, November 9, Fox aired the seventh episode of The Masked Singer season eight, titled “Hall of Fame Night.” Regular judge Ken Jeong was absent from this particular episode, which led to the late Jordan filling up for him on the judging panel.
Prior to the airing of this new episode, Fox issued an official statement on TV and through the official Instagram account for The Masked Singer:
“The following episode of The Masked Singer is dedicated to a beloved member of the Fox family, Leslie Jordan (1955-2022).”
Nicole Scherzinger, who’s also a regular judge on the series, also shared a picture of herself and Jordan on the judging panel. She wrote in the Instagram post:
“It’s Hall of Fame night on The Masked Singer tonight and the last time we all got the chance to be together with the late Leslie Jordan. We dedicate tonight’s episode to you, Leslie. We love and miss you!”
Given how booked and busy Jordan constantly was, this isn’t the only filmed appearance that fans will see of him in the near future. For instance, HGTV had already announced that Jordan will be featured in a new episode of Celebrity IOU airing in November 2022.
It’s always a pleasure to see Jordan on our screens. Though everyone is still heartbroken by his loss, his energy and spirit will live on forever.
The Masked Singer season eight airs Wednesdays on Fox.
