Amy Sedaris Returns to TV with Untitled Comedy Series

2017 is going to be a rich year for comedy, it seems, as we’ve learned that Amy Sedaris has landed her own comedy series on truTV.

The network has picked up the yet-untitled show straight to series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Sedaris is the show’s creator and star, and the Strangers with Candy and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt star described the show as a combination of talk and hospitable shows—with a little bit of her signature frenetic energy mixed in.

"I’ve been doing this show in my head for years. It will be terrific to get it on TV so I can free up some wiggle room up in my skull,” Sedaris told THR.
