Queer love is in the air!
It's been a minute since we last heard an update about the supposed all-queer season of Netflix's popular reality dating series The UltimatumThe Ultimatum, but after finally learning who our host would be last November (Reba alum JoAnna Garcia Swisher), viewers are finally getting blessed with a whole bunch of stuff to get them hyped AF!
The streamer just announced that the inaugural season of The Ultimatum: Queer Love will be a three-week event set to premiere this May and will consist of 10 episodes. The first four episodes will drop May 24, the next four episodes will drop on May 31, and the final two episodes will drop on June 7.
Netflix also released a teaser trailer and a ton of first-look images from the series, which features five couples made up of women and nonbinary folks who are at a crossroads when it comes to the future of their relationships. And from the looks of said teaser, this is going to be a must-watch for any LGBTQ+ reality TV stan.
"The Ultimatum universe is expanding to showcase more stories of love, relationships, and the ups and the downs of commitment," the series' official description reads. "In The Ultimatum: Queer Love, five new couples, made up of women and nonbinary people, are at a crossroads in their relationship. One partner is ready for marriage, the other may have doubts. An ultimatum is issued. And in just over eight weeks, each couple will either get married, or get out, after they each choose new potential partners in a life-changing opportunity to get a glimpse of two different futures."
