Nick and Charlie are feeling the fireworks!

That line is the central theme in the first official teaser for Heartstopper season two, which is set to premiere on Netflix on August 3.
This year, Nick (Kit Connor) and Charlie (Joe Locke) will be taking a trip to Paris, France – the most romantic place on Earth – along with their school friends Elle (Yasmin Finney), Tao (William Gao), Tara (Corinna Brown), Darcy (Kizzy Edgell), and Isaac (Tobie Donovan).
The official synopsis for Heartstopper season two reads:
“Nick and Charlie navigate their new relationship, Tara and Darcy face unforeseen challenges, and Tao and Elle work out if they can ever be more than just friends. With exams on the horizon, a school trip to Paris, and a prom to plan, the gang has a lot to juggle as they journey through the next stages of life, love, and friendship.”
