Kylie had a two-year ‘All Stars’ reign!

One of the greatest comeback stories in RuPaul’s Drag Race herstory took place as season two star Kylie Sonique Love came back to compete a decade later on All Stars 6 and snatched the crown – becoming the first out trans contestant in the Drag Race Hall of Fame.

On Wednesday, July 19, Love took to social media to celebrate what has become a two-year reign for her in the Drag Race Hall of Fame. After all, All Stars 7 was a special all-winners edition that didn’t involve an induction to the Hall of Fame.

With All Stars 8 coming to an end, either Jimbo or Kandy Muse will soon join the coveted Drag Race Hall of Fame. Love wrote on Twitter:

“After reining almost two years as [the] RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6 winner, I have to say it’s been such an honor to be inducted in the Hall of Fame with such amazing queens. I’m so excited to see who will be joining us. Are you #TeamJimbo or #TeamKandy?”

A fan replied to Love’s tweet saying that she’d make for a great Lip Sync Assassin, as well as a competitor in a second all-winners season. In response, Love revealed that she was actually invited to appear on All Stars 8 but had to decline for a very specific reason:

“I was asked to do it, but I had an injury. I was supposed to do “Jumpin’, Jumpin’.” Can’t do no jumping with a [f*cked] up leg. Maybe next time.”

In other words, Love was the original queen set to appear as the Lip Sync Assassin for “Jumpin’, Jumpin’” by Destiny’s Child.

Following Love’s inability to perform during that episode, Canada’s Drag Race winner Priyanka appeared as the Lip Sync Assassin for “Jumpin’, Jumpin’.” She performed against Kandy Muse and was deemed the winner.

Priyanka also reacted to the revelation that Love was originally booked to appear in that episode, writing on Twitter:

“Oh girl, you would’ve ATE ATE ATE ATE it.”

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8 airs Fridays on Paramount+.
