There are a handful of actors out there who didn't let the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike stop them from wearing the pop culture-inspired Halloween costumes they wanted to wear this year...
In case you missed it, the Screen Actors Guild‐American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strongly advised its union members and supporters not to dress up as TV and movie characters for Halloween, a move intended to deprive the major studios and streaming services they are striking against of any free promotional publicity.
But in a viral display of defiance, popular out actress Megan Fox seemingly taunted SAG by tagging the guild in photos of herself and fiancé Machine Gun Kelly, dressed in costumes inspired by the popular 2003 Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill: Vol. 1. Fox took on the persona of the teenage assassin Gogo Yubari while Kelly dressed up in Uma Thurman's iconic blood-stained yellow tracksuit.
In its initial announcement, SAG emphasized the importance of union members using their collective power to convey a strong message to striking employers that they would not endorse their content without a fair contract.
