Now that disgraced former congressman George Santos has been kicked out of the House of Representatives, he needs a new way to make a living.
Unfortunately, he’s decided to go on Cameo where he’s charging hundreds of dollars to make videos based on requests people send in.
The Cameo videos have been a big news story, and late-night host Jimmy Kimmel covered them recently on his show Jimmy Kimmel Live! Kimmel has been doing a bit where he anonymously submitted his own requests to Santos’ Cameo account, asking Santos to read fake stories and then showing them during a new segment called “Will Santos Say It?”
Now, Santos is calling foul.
“[Santos] has claimed he’s made more money in seven days than he did in Congress for a year, and part of that money came from me. I sent him a bunch of crazy video requests because I wanted to see what he would read and what he wouldn’t read,” Kimmel said on his show on Monday. “I showed some of them on the air on Thursday, and now he’s demanding $20,000 from me to be paid a commercial rate.”
“Can you imagine if I get sued by George Santos for fraud? How good would that be?” Kimmel continued. “It would be like a dream come true.”
Kimmel also joked that Santos has been able to raise his price on Cameo since he’s been featured on the show. “He should be thanking me for buying these videos,” Kimmel joked.
While Santos is threatening Kimmel, the late night host isn’t backing down, saying he has a “big stockpile” of Cameos still to show, even showing two more on Monday’s episode.

One of the new joke Cameos was asking Santos to say “congratulations” to a fictional blind woman for getting her drivers’ license even though she got in a major car accident the next day.
Kimmel also took credit for the viral Cameo that showed Santos congratulating a fictional man named Heath who “came out as a furry” and was even granted permission to work at his job at Arbys while wearing his fursuit.
“They all love you, Beav-apuss,” Santos read in the Cameo, ending it with a “Yiff, Yiff, Yiff,” which the Cameo said was the sound the fursona makes. (“Yiff” is actually a sound that furries use to refer to pornographic content.)
Watch Kimmel talk about the Santos Cameos at around the 6:52 mark in his opening monologue in the video below.
