In this week's main challenge, the queens were tasked with creating their own TV pilots. Shea Couleé and Sasha Velour unsurprisingly beat out the rest of the queens, winning the challenge and a bunch of luxury hair care products—perfect for Sasha, who is bald.
When Valentina stepped out onto the runway, hearts started beating furiously, because Internet rumors that had been circling for weeks about her lip syncing in a mask were right. Valentina and Nina Bo'nina Brown were deemed the bottom two and told to lip synch to Ariana Grande's "Greedy," and Valentina refused to take off her mask.
Ru, in an unprecedented move, stopped the lip synch and forced Valentina to remove her mask and start again. It soon became clear she'd been wearing the mask because she didn't know the lyrics to the song. Was she just so sure she wouldn't be in the bottom that she didn't learn the lyrics, or did we learn that there is one part of drag this seemingly perfect queen isn't good at?
No matter the reason, Valentina—once the season's front runner to win—was sent packing. Six queens remain.
