Best known for playing the character of Zeke Beakerman on the Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place, Dan Benson decided to pause his acting career and create adult content on OnlyFans in recent years. However, with this week’s announcement from Selena Gomez of a possible Wizards reboot or sequel, Benson is feeling gooped and gagged.
“Are you kidding me?!” the actor said in a video posted to Instagram. “Today they announced that they’re bringing back Wizards of Waverly Place in a sequel. Are you kidding me? I mean, one: yooo that’s hype! But oh boy, what have I done?”
Benson continued, “I waited like 13 years. Just waiting around. Now, okay, here we go! Let’s fire it up… as soon as Dan becomes a porn star, let’s reboot Wizards again! You guys suck. I’m just kidding.”
The former Disney Channel actor and now OnlyFans creator also pondered upon whether his character on Wizards of Waverly Place will be present in the sequel but re-cast with a new actor. He certainly looks heartbroken if a decision is made to re-cast Zeke.
Generally speaking, there is no expectation that the House of Mouse will consider calling Benson to reprise his performance as Zeke now that the actor has been attached to creating adult content for OnlyFans. So he’s pretty upset, to say the least.
