Twink death was an actual rebirth for these LGBTQ+ celebs!
And just like that… some of the most legendary twinks in the LGBTQ+ community are turning into full-grown hunks!
In the last few years, the “twink death” slang term has been used to define the moment when a twink can no longer be considered a twink due to factors like aging, body transformations, and/or generally presenting as more mature than before. Though there will always be criticisms for just about any terms, labels, or slang referring to practically anything in the queer community, most people use “twink death” as a joke/meme rather than using it to shame others. In fact, many former twinks use the form to recall their former selves/bodies and show what they’ve evolved into.
When it comes to LGBTQ+ celebrities who were known for having a “twink look,” parting ways with that aesthetic can be interesting to see. Thankfully, some celebs are finding different ways to embrace their new bodies — and some of them are even becoming bona fide hunks that we did NOT see coming.
Scroll through to check out some of our favorite twinks who have now become hunks!
Pearl
Is there something on Pearl’s face? Oh, yeah, it’s all that facial hair! Fans are still getting used to Pearl’s new hunky aesthetic after being one of the best-known good-looking twinks in RuPaul’s Drag Race herstory. In recent years, though, Pearl has become a certified stud with plenty of thirst traps for everyone to see on social media.
David Archuleta
David Archuleta has come a long way since making his mainstream debut by finishing as a runner-up on American Idol. In recent years, Archuleta has come out and also started working out — eventually becoming a full-on hunk!
Blair St Clair
RuPaul’s Drag Race fans had a blast joking about how Blair St Clair looked like a very young person in season 10 (despite already being 22 years old). St Clair then came back onto All Stars 5 following a glow-up in her drag aesthetic, but it wasn’t until recent years that a much hunkier version of out-of-drag St Clair was presented to us on social media.
Ronan Farrow
As an award-winning journalist and author, Ronan Farrow typically kept a low profile when it comes to his public life. In recent years, however, Farrow embraced a new approach to social media and started sharing quite a few thirst traps on the ‘gram. This new era got a total of zero complaints… not even one!
Courtney Act
Best known for competing on shows like Australian Idol and RuPaul’s Drag Race, Courtney Act went on to win Celebrity Big Brother in the UK and have a blossoming career in music. In recent years, though, Act also broke the long-standing twink archetype by showing off a new and much more muscular body on social media.
