Happy Pride Month to out actress Louisa Jacobson!

Jacobson, 33, used this Pride month to come out in a social media post, saying she is "blessed to be entering the Joyful New Era bb" and posting a pride flag emoji.

Jacobson, who is one of Meryl Streep's daughters, has starred in the HBO series The Gilded Age for the last two years. On the show, she plays Marian Brook, a penniless young woman who moves in with her estranged aunts (played by Cynthia Nixon and Christine Baranski) when her father dies in 1882 New York City.

In the post, Jacobson shared several pictures with her girlfriend, producer Anna Blundell, as well as a screenshot of a New York Times article that declares "We're Entering a Joyful New Era of Lesbian Fashion," a phrase which Jacobson adopted for herself, implying that she is coming out as a lesbian.

The post went up on June 22, which just so happens to be her mother, Meryl Streep's birthday. "Coming out at your mom's birthday is so iconic," commented Sky Maddas.

The post also includes a photo of the painting Sappho and Erinna in a Garden at Mytilene by Simeon Solomon, which also celebrates woman on woman love, and a piece of graffiti that says "live. laugh. lesbian," another sign that she is a lesbian.

At the beginning of Pride month, Jacobson had posted an Instagram story where she was holding the book How to Be Gay by David M. Halperin, and captioned it "Happy priiiiiiiidddeee" along with a pride flag emoji.

Now, it seems, she's being even more clear about her identity.

Congratulations to Jacobson and Blundell!
