A heat wave wasn't the only thing taking over Los Angeles this past weekend!
It was incredibly hot this past weekend in Downtown Los Angeles, and we're not just talking about the weather!
Not be outdone by 2023, 2022, and more years past, cosplayers from every corner of every fandom came together for Anime Expo, the world's largest and most celebrated pop culture convention for all things anime!
While the heat may have been a barrier for folks who are just casually into dressing up as their favorite TV and movie characters, this is AX we're talking about, so the real hardcore dedicated cosplayers came from far and wide to churn out looks we can't stop thinking about (or looking at), and photographer Carlos Ermac captured some of that magic over the long weekend!
