On Thursday, Sarah Jessica Parker posted to Instagram a message of support for Cynthia Nixon’s bid for governor of New York.
“A mother, an activist, an advocate, a fighter, a NY'er, a dear friend,” Parker wrote under a picture of Nixon. “My sister on and off screen, you have my love, support and vote.”

Parker is the last of Nixon’s former Sex and the City co-stars to comment on her gubernatorial campaign. On March 19, Kristen Davis, who played Charlotte, tweeted her support.
“I know that she would be an excellent governor!” Davis wrote.
On March 22, in response to a question about what she thought of Nixon’s run, Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha, simply tweeted“I support & respect any former colleague’s right to make their own career choices.”
