Hilton DresdenToni Collette and Merritt Wever will star as detectives in a new Netflix series titled Unbelievable.
The show is based upon Marshall Project and ProPublica’s article “An Unbelievable Story of Rape," and follows two law enforcement sleuths “whose lives become intertwined in their mutual pursuit of a possible serial rapist," Deadline reports.

Kaitlyn Dever (Last Man Standing) is set to star as well, while The Kids Are All Right's Lisa Cholodenko will direct and produce the first three of eight episodes.
Collette won two Emmys as the star of United States of Tara, and an Oscar nomination for The Sixth Sense. Cholodenko also earned an Oscar nom, co-writing The Kids Are All Right.
