Which witches are coming back for Apocalypse?
Fans have long known that all of Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story seasons take place in the same universe, and while Easter eggs and nods to other seasons have been littered throughout storylines in AHS history, season 8’s Apocalypse will be the most direct crossover between seasonal storylines to date.

Though it was presumed and hoped for, until now there was no word on how literal the crossover between the show’s first season, Murder House, and its third season, Coven, was going to be. We could have been stuck with futuristic witches holding a séance over an empty lot if Murphy wanted to get super twisty.
But thanks to Murphy’s penchant for building hype, he took to Twitter yesterday to announce that, not only will AHS perennials Taissa Farmiga, Gabourey Sidibe, Lily Rabe, and Frances Conroy be returning for Apocalypse, so will the ever-enchanting Stevie Nicks.
Guess who's coming back for AHS APOCALYPSE? Taissa Farmiga, Gabourey Sidibe, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy and....Stevie Nicks. So thrilled the family is together again! #AHSApocalypse

It’s hard to guess at the roles of stars like Farmiga, Rabe, and Conroy, who all starred in both Murder House and Coven, or whether or not their characters will have crossover with one another, but we have high hopes for the amalgamation of two of the show’s most popular seasons from its groundbreaking early days.
