"I was concerned about racism, I would’ve moved out of America a long time ago.”
Kanye West was the musical guest on the season premiere of Saturday Night Live this weekend and used the platform as an opportunity to voice more of his questionable political discourse. While SNL usually closes with the host, musical artist and cast chumming it up and waving goodbye, West — aka Ye — used the time to talk about the state of the country. Thankfully, Chris Rock captured most of it on his Instagram story.
Wearing a MAGA hat, West began by singing, “I wanna cry right now/Black man in America/Supposed to keep what you feel inside right now.” He continued, saying: “You got a situation where we need to have a dialogue and not a diatribe.”

He went on to talk about the criticism for his support of Donald Trump. “There’s so many times I talk to like a white person about this, and they say, ‘How could you like Trump? He’s racist.’ Well, uh, if I was concerned about racism, I would’ve moved out of America a long time ago.”
West also shared a “a Democratic plan” to take “fathers out the home and promote welfare”, as well as saying he plans to run for President in 2020. “Follow your heart and stop following your mind,” he added. “That’s how we’re controlled. That’s how we’re programed. If you want the world to move forward, try love. Thank y’all for giving me this platform.”

Trump had his own disturbing response to the SNL premiere.
Like many, I don’t watch Saturday Night Live (even though I past hosted it) - no longer funny, no talent or charm. It is just a political ad for the Dems. Word is that Kanye West, who put on a MAGA hat after the show (despite being told “no”), was great. He’s leading the charge!
