Act’s reality TV domination continues.
Rose DommuCrikey! Courtney Act will continue her domination of reality television competitions as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars. I hope that wig is strapped on tight, sis, no one wants to be snatched bald during a backbend.
Act will appear on the Australian version of the hot dancing show with a male dance partner. “Imma be twinkling round the floor on Dancing With The Stars!!!,” she tweeted. “Can’t wait to do all the sexy dances and wear all the pretty dresses (hopefully no wardrobe malfunctions this time).”
Act is referring to the wardrobe malfunction that left her bottomless during her entrance on Celebrity Big Brother, which she won in 2018. Besides Celebrity Big Brother and Dancing with the Stars, Act is also, of course, a RuPaul’s Drag Race legend and is famous in her home country for competing in the first Australian Idol in 2003 — she truly is the reigning queen of reality TV.
Following her Celebrity Big Brother win, Act hosted U.K. dating series The Bi Life, which starred a group of bisexual singles looking for love. She also landed a late night talk show, The Courtney Act Show, on British television, which has yet to air. "This is my show and I say come on in, all you heroic misfits, those of you who are a bit chipped around the edges … I want to welcome you all,” Act said in a statement when the news was announced. "You bring the open minds and I'll bring the open bar and we'll meet in the middle for a gay old time!"
Not satisfied with her TV domination, Act also released a music video on Monday for new single “Fight for Love,” her entry for this year's Eurovision competition.
Act’s Dancing with the Stars journey begins February 18.
