But Facundo Rodriguez is more than just a jacked body.
TelevisionMikelle StreetRuPaul’s Drag Race has brought us a lot of drag queens — 126 in fact. It has also brought us quite a bit of skin — Oh, pit crew! But for the past eight seasons, even the commercials got in on the hunky fun, by way of one Boy Butter Personal Lubricants. You might have caught this one last night.
The ad features a jacked guy putting more than a little bit of muscle into churning away at some presumed butter. He flirts with the camera a bit with his eyes, with and without his apron on. It’s a pretty straight forward premise, one that’s featured gogo boy around town Samuel Lemar and even the ginger pinup boy Seth Fornea before that. But the new star of the clip is more than just a model.
“When we were looking for a new model my videographer, Daniel Robinson, suggested someone he had photographed recently,” Eyal Feldman, founder and owner of Boy Butter tells Out. “Facundo [Rodriguez,] co-owner of ReBar Chelsea, who is dark, beared, sexy and expressive.” And that, my dear friends, he is.
Rodriguez, along with Franco DiLuzio, helped to open ReBar in 2017, in New York City, and have turned it into a pretty popular spot despite a controversial incident on opening their weekend. But the venue is just one of Rodriguez’s many pursuits, having modeled for NastyPig in the past and also played a pornstar-dancer in season two of the webseries Hustling. Plus, there’s his bull terrier Rocco, that he seems to be in complete love with.
“I immediately thought he was the perfect choice: gay, Argentinian, total swagger, killer body and a following on social media and IRL that only helps the brand,” Feldman continues. “When we shot the ad, he had a natural playfulness that definitely comes across. As simple and clean as it is, it’s the sexiest ad we have ever done because he seriously makes love to that churn.”
Truly, what else can you ask for?
