After months of uncertainty and countless back-and-forths the new Twin Peaks is finally headed into production. The original show, which still boasts a strong cult-like following, was wildly popular in its time and has plenty of fans excited for what’s next.

Kyle MacLachlan will reprise his role as FBI Agent Dale Cooper where the story picks up 25 years after the events of the original series where he investigated the murder of Laura Palmer. The new series will have a limited run on Showtime in 2017. Watch below.
