Though HBO Max's Legendary released a teaser trailer not long ago, the series is back with their full official trailer for its second season and baby ... the looks. After bringing together houses from the ballroom scene to fight it out for $100,000. The House of Balmain won in that East Coast battle but for season two, the series has located to the West Coast to find their successor.
As previously announced, the ballroom houses of Prodigy, Icon, Luxe, Milan, Balenciaga, Tisci, Miyake-Mugler, Chanel, Commes Des Garcons, and O'Ricci will all face off this season. For those who know the scene, the cast is absolutely stacked with some really massive names. And if the trailer is any indication, the judges have brought the looks to meet that same energy.
In addition to permanent judges Jameela Jamil, Megan Thee Stallion, Law Roach, and Leiomy Maldonado, the series will have guest judges that include Demi Lovato, Adam Lambert, Taraji P. Henson, Normani, Tiffany Haddish, Nicco Annan, and Amiyah Scott. Of that group, Scott is definitively of the ballroom community, having made her name walking in the face category before appearing on television shows like Star.
It's all going to be part of an amazingly packed slate of LGBTQ+ inclusive television programming this Pride season. Other shows like RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under and Elite season four are also launching between May and June.
Legendary will premiere on HBO Max on May 6th.
