Rosie O’Donnell is ready for her big comeback.

Tthe former host of her eponymous daytime talk show and iconic actress/comedian revealed that she’ll be making a guest appearance in an episode of Amazon’s upcoming hour-long A League of Their Own series.

As Deadline reports, while she was appearing on Danny Pellegrino’s podcast Everything Iconic, O’Donnell talked about her upcoming appearances on both The L Word: Generation Q and A League of Their Own.

“I’m playing a bartender in one of the scenes at the local gay bar,” she said about her A League of Their Own appearance. She also said Abbi Jacobson, the show’s creator, sent her the pilot of the show and that it “was just beautiful, really well done.” She’ll be shooting her scenes in the upcoming months.

O’Donnell famously appeared in the original film, and while her character isn’t explicitly stated to be queer, she was a major inspiration for many queer people who saw a bit of themselves in her character, who never felt like a “real girl” until she found her community in baseball.

The TV show, from co-creators Abbi Jacobson and Will Graham, follows new characters from the real-life All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. According to Variety, the new series will “explore race and sexuality” in ways the original film did not.

Lesbian filmmaker Jamie Babbit (But I’m a Cheerleader) directed and executive produced the pilot, and the cast includes queer actors Jacobson and Roberta Colindrez. The series also stars Chanté Adams, D’Arcy Carden, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Kelly McCormack, Priscilla Delgado, Molly Ephraim, Kate Berlant, and Melanie Field.

O’Donnell is also appearing in the upcoming second season of The L Word: Generation Q as Carrie, Tina’s fiancée, who butts heads with Bette. She’s already garnering early awards buzz for the role.
