The first look at the new American Crime Story is finally here!
Raffy ErmacThe first teaser for the highly-anticipated drama series Impeachment: American Crime Story is officially here, and we are so ready to see queer actress and Booksmart star Beanie Feldstein back in action on our TV sets as Monica Lewinsky!
In the minute-long clip, Feldstein's Lewinsky is seen walking down the extremely busy hallways of the White House with a secret gift for Bill Clinton (played by Clive Owen) in tow. The latest installment of FX's American Crime Story anthology series, Impeachment tells the real-life saga of the 1998 Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky scandal, based on Jeffrey Toobin’s book A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Story of the Sex Scandal That Nearly Brought Down a President.
Alongside Feldstein, Impeachment also stars Emmy-winning TV legend and longtime Ryan Murphy collaborator Sarah Paulson as Linda Tripp, one of the women whose sexual harassment lawsuits against former President Clinton lead to the revelation that he was having an affair with Lewinsky while she working in the White House as an intern. On-set pics of Paulson in full costume as Tripp have already been circulating online, and as usual, fans are excited to see what she's going to be bringing to the role!
The series will also co-star Annaleigh Ashford, Anthony Green, and Billy Eichner.
Impeachment: American Crime Story is set to premiere September 7 on FX!
