It’s been 20 years since Queer Eye for the Straight Guy premiered on TV! Feel old yet?

The original Fab Five members – Carson Kressley (“fashion savant”), Jai Rodriguez (“culture vulture”) Kyan Douglas (“hair/grooming guru”), Ted Allen (“food connoisseur”), and Thom Filicia (“design doctor”) are reuniting to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

During this special reunion, “fans will have the opportunity to see their favorite OG ‘Fab Five’ together once again as they share behind-the-scenes stories, memorable moments from the show, discuss the impact of Queer Eye on culture and society, participate in Q&A, and [conduct] live audience makeovers.”

Titled An Evening With The Fab Five: 20 Years Later, the event is scheduled for Saturday, December 16 at the Wind Creek Event Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The reunion will be hosted by Good Day Philadelphia anchor Thomas Drayton.

The original iteration of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy premiered in July 2003 on Bravo and aired for five seasons, spanning a total of 100 episodes. After the series ended in October 2007, the Fab Five members all led successful careers in their fields of expertise while also expanding their horizons.

In 2018, Netflix rebooted the show as Queer Eye with a new Fab Five team consisting of Antoni Porowski (food and wine), Bobby Berk (design), Jonathan Van Ness (hair/grooming), Karamo Brown (culture), and Tan France (fashion). Much like the OG cast members, these new Fab Five stars have also become household names and are slowly creating their own empires outside of the franchise.

Though we love both iterations of the Fab Five, we’ll always have a soft spot for the OGs. Happy 20th, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy!
