After a much talked about and successful first season, Dear White People, the series based on the 2014 film by the same name, will be coming back to Netflix next year for a second season.

The series’ creator and showrunner, Justin Simien, announced the news Friday at the Essence Festival. The streaming show has been given another 10-episode order and will see stars Logan Browning, Brand P. Bell, Antoinette Robertson, DeRon Horton, John Patrick Amedori, Ashely Blaine Featherson, and Marque Richardson pick up where this season left off.

Taking place on the campus of a predominantly white, present-day Ivy League school, the show tackles different facets of the contemporary race conversation in the United States. “There are a lot of things that we planted in the first season that you may not even notice at first glance that culminate in that moment that I’m really excited to explore,” Simien told The Hollywood Reporter in April, “and I’m not going to talk about it until I actually get to do it.” The first season of Dear White People is streaming on Netflix now. Re-watch the trailer below and binge it all over again.
