The queens are queening!

RuPaul’s Drag Race season 16 episode 11 starts with the girls congratulating Sapphira Cristál for winning her second maxi challenge in the competition. Morphine Love Dion expresses that she’s happy to finally land in the bottom, but also that she really wanted to win the challenge.

On the opposite end of the spectrum is Plane Jane, who doesn’t feel like she landed in the bottom in episode 10 (even though it turned out to be a non-elimination episode anyway). But the other queens think that Plane absolutely got a bottom placement last week. “Plane was called last in the judging,” Dawn says in a confessional, “we all know what that means. That b*tch wasn’t even bottom 2… she was bottom 1!”

Next day in the werk room, Mama Ru comes in for a game of “Spill the T.” This is now a pretty traditional game on Drag Race where Ru asks the queens questions based on superlatives and they vote for the person they think it applies to the most. The queens who vote with the majority win that round, and so the game goes on.

Highlights of this mini challenge include: most passive aggressive queen (Nymphia Wind), queens you’re most likely to block online (Plane Jane), queen most likely to blame the edit (Morphine Love Dion), queen most likely to wisely spend the $200,000 grand prize (Sapphira Cristál). With a total of $900, Sapphira wins the mini challenge and receives an additional $2,500 cash tip.

RuPaul then announces the maxi challenge of the week, “Drag Awareness Month,” where the queens will be challenged to do their own drag awareness employee seminars. This means that hosting and being good at public speaking will probably be an advantage… and some of these queens are already shaking in their boots!
