Season 7 is shaping up to have the most unpredictably brilliant cast yet.
Hilton DresdenRyan Murphy's certainly got a knack for rounding up A-list talent on his anthology series American Horror Story, and season 7 is proving to be just as celebrity-packed as ever. Last night, Murphy took to Twitter to announce one of his most exciting casting decisions yet: Girls creator and star Lena Dunham is joining the show.

While her role is as yet undefined, we know that the new season will be inspired by the 2016 election—so maybe she's playing a candidate for the presidency, or a Russian spy, or a sneaky journalist with a dark secret. Dunham will be joined by an impressive cast that could lead to some memorable comedy-horror moments: Billy Eichner is also slated to appear this season, as well as Sarah Paulson, Billie Lourd, Adina Porter, and, to draw in those viewers looking for lots of shirtless gay men with their morbid politics, we've also got Colton Haynes rounding out the cast:
Other than that, we know very little about the FX's show newest iteration. According to Variety,though, the title should be announced later today. And Ryan Murphy did drop this bee-themed teaser earlier this week:
