The First Trailer for ‘AHS: Cult’ is Here

No more clowning around. 

After countless teases and exciting cast reveals like Billie Lourde and Colton Haynes, the upcoming seventh season of American Horror Story now has a title and first trailer.

From previous reveals we already know that this season of American Horror Story, dubbed Cult, is themed around the 2016 presidential election. Now the mystery of tying that into the cult of killer clowns we see in the trailer lies before us. Some other clues Murphy has laid out before us involve a video of Twisty the Clown Chronicles, and an undead-looking creature with a pentagram painted on its face and hands sprouting from its head.

The only thing we can think of is that this clown cult has sort of patriotic obsession that they use to justify any heinous act they commit. Sounds eerily familiar—watch, below.
