The four-time Emmy-nominatedUnbreakable Kimmy Schmidt star Tituss Burgess has been given the greenlight to host a new cooking competition series by the creator of Chopped

Deadline reports that the show, titled Dishmantled, is a “a high-octane cooking competition that will literally blow your socks off.” Each episode “starts with the cannon-blasting of a mystery food dish into the faces of two blindfolded chefs. They’ll use their culinary prowess to identify the exploded dish and then race against the clock to recreate it. Whichever chef comes closest to the original dish wins a cash prize.”

Burgess is perhaps best known for his role as Tituss Andromedon in the Netflix comedy series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, which garnered him four Emmy nominations, a SAG award, and two Critics’ Choice TV awards. His next role will be in Netflix’s Dolemite Is My Name, which also stars Eddie Murphy, Keegan Michael Key, Mike Epps, and Craig Robinson. That latter project is set to release this fall.

Dishmantled will also air on a streaming service, with Quibi. That site is a short-form digital service set to launch in April, and spearheaded by Jeffrey Katzenberg and Meg Whitman. In recent weeks the Hollywood-based streaming company has announced several projects including murder mystery When the Street Lights Go On, and sci-fi thriller Tranmission. The company also has projects with award-winning directors including Steven Spielberg and Catherine Hardwicke.

A premiere date forDishmantled has not been announced.
