In sadder news, ‘AHS: Hotel’ actor Harry Hains had died.
Rose DommuAmerican Horror Story has a few more scares left — the horror anthology series has been renewed through season 13. And thankfully, it’s most vital star will return next season. That’s right, Sarah Paulson has confirmed that she will appear on the 10th season of the show.
“I did ask Ryan if the question was asked to me, could I say that I was coming back, and he said ‘yes’ you could say. So, yes I will be back on American Horror Story,” Paulson told Deadline. While she has no idea (allegedly) what the season’s theme will be, she’s confident she’ll play a major role. When asked if she’ll return as a series regular, rather than a cameo, she answered, “I should hope so.” And “God willing,” Paulson will return past season 10.
American Horror Story just wrapped its ninth outing, 1984, which took its cue from 80s slasher films and was, in many critics’ estimation, one of the best seasons in the show’s history. Paulson had taken a break from the show to focus on Ryan Murphy’s upcoming Netflix series Ratched and prepare for her role as Linda Tripp in American Crime Story, which will dramatize the Bill Clinton/Monica Lewinsky scandal.
In sadder news for fans of the show, Harry Hains — who appeared in Hotel— has died. The actor and model’s death was announced by his mother, Mission: Impossible star Jane Balder, on Instagram on Thursday.
"On Jan 7 my beautiful son died," Badler wrote. "He was 27 and had the world at his feet. But sadly he struggled with mental illness and addiction. "A brilliant spark shone bright too short a time... I will miss you Harry every day of my life.”
