Looks like we finally learn what happens after Victor came out to his parents in the final scene of season 1.
Love SimonDonald PadgettHulu just released the full trailer for season 2 of Love, Victor. The story of a boy coming to terms with his sexuality while navigating life as a star high school athlete ended its first season just as Victor Salazar, played by straight actor Michael Cimino, came out to his parents.
Talk about a cliffhanger!
Season 2 picks up where the story left off. Salazar has just come out to his conservative parents, and there promises to be some difficulties at home as his family comes to terms with his sexual identity. But there’s also young love blossoming between Victor and his boyfriend Benji, played by George Sear, which isn’t the best of news for Salazar’s heartbroken girlfriend, Mia, played by Rachel Naomi Hilson. The series also stars Ana Ortiz, James Martinez, Isabella Ferreira, Mateo Fernandez, Bebe Wood, Anthony Turpel and Mason Gooding.
Love, Victor takes place after the events of the 2018 movie Love, Simon starring Nick Robinson as Simon Spier. Robinson reprised the role via voice over narration last season and also appeared in one episode. The film’s original writers, Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, now executive produce the series.
You can binge watch all 10 episodes of Season 2 starting Friday, June 11. The full trailer is below.
